Not only is this utterly wrong, but no selfrespecting player would ever go along with this so the point is moot.

No way I would dump a match.
It's like intentionally avoiding promotion for reason X. It's not in my book.

So, a unanimous, "No, Adam - to even think it is to put yourself up for a damned good flogging", then |

The only way I'd fix a game is by throwing it into the fire after losing out on promotion for the 15th consecutive season. :p
p.s. I have not gotten that desperate.........yet. |

It's an interesting thought. I'd never do it in the big Euro leagues, but in that league...maybe... If I was desperate.

I'm always playing to win, no matter who I'm facing, even for cupgames I'm playing the best available players.

The answers in here certainly show who is new and who is battle hardened.
This IS match fixing, which is forbidden. Plain and simple.

Some of the answers have been a bit "grey", but I'm not sure there's too many match-fixers.
I certainly see no problem in blooding a couple of kids in a meaningless end-of-season game, for example. I'm still trying to win, just maybe not with what some would consider my first XI.
