Time to reveal all.
I have taken over as manager of...
Salisbury City
New promoted to the Conference, they were at the time £1,000,000 in debt. However, the board decided to totally wipe this out inside three months, which left me with approximately £16,000 in the bank. Ho hum.
Half way through the season, and if it weren't for a teenage goalkeeper I've signed and a striker I've loaned from Scarborough (who top the Conference), then it would have been a complete disaster. I'm currently 21st in the Conference, though with the exception of Purfleet (now known as Thurrock in real life) who are cast off, we are still in touch with a group of around nine teams who could face relegation.
Out of both cups to non league teams. A 1-0 defeat at Spennymoor United in the F.A. Cup Qualifying Round was followed by two 3-3 draws with Chester before they ran out 2-1 winners at Raymond McEnhill Stadium, the winner coming in the 329th minute of the tie. For this season, cups suck arse.
