Gaffa, I'll try to explain to you in form of an analogy.

Imagine you'd be a regular reader of a movie forum. People there like to watch French movies only. It's a community of people with similar interests: French Movies. They aren't interested in hearing about other movies - after all they frequent the board to share knowledge and interest in French movies.

So, one of the regulars goes to a French movie and finds out that it is not worth it. Actually, it's one of the worst movies he has ever seen, and it was an utter waste of time. So, he writes a posting on the board, telling his friends that they shouldn't watch this movie, since it's most likely no fun anyway.

Well, what do you do? With the same behaviour as you have shown here, I'd expect you to jump in and explain to the regulars, that it's absolutely ridiculous to jump on a movie. After all, it's not forbidden to watch a movie like that.

I might just give it a go and see what happens. I say a fair challenge would be to try and get into League One within 4 years. Would you say that was a challenge? or a peice of ****?

This stinks. Weymouth and Hornchurch were my favourite LL teams in FM2005. Hornchurch got liquidated and it seems like Weymouth will be blacklisted .
Please someone check out what are their starting finances. Because they can loan people from the premiership I believe at least the wage bill should be high.

Nobody is saying you cannot play as Weymouth. It's your game, do as you like. But just as Rushden and Hull have conveyed an advantage to the manager in previous CMs, and Gretna in FM05, Weymouth appear to be a team with a clear advantage over the others in their division for FM2006.

The majority of people on this board will want to bear this in mind before starting a new game in England, and, armed with such knowledge, choose to play as someone else.

i will try it out and let you guys know. If there is a clear unfair advantage then of course there is little point. But if they simply have better playrs or have a good default manager who makes good signings every game then that would not make it unfair I beleive.

Just started game with weymouth no transfer funds but 14k wage budget. Surely a typo and should be 1,400!!!!

Definately not worth it.
