I just finished my first season with the might Havant & Waterlooville but finished 31 points behind Weymouth who absolutely romped it.

Haven't looked at any of their players mind - that would be cheating wouldnt it!

I don't make sure the team I'm taking over isn't sitting on a goldmine either. But every savegame reported isn't "a few". Anyway, it wouldn't be much fun managing Weymouth, when you could just snooze through and still get promoted. Not just once, but twice in two seasons.

Based on their transfers in my game, they're probably not loaded with cash, but with that kinda quality it's a no-no as LLM IMO. I call for Weymouth on the blacklist. Yay or Nay?

Just out of interest - where do Havant & Waterlooville come in the scale? Are they crap or are they half decent out of all the teams? I was expected to battle against relegation and my team seemed pretty crap but I don't know how crap compared to other teams around me as I never look at other teams players - just use my scouts instead.

I've finished my first season with Maidenhead. IMO, I played an excellent season, but still ended far behind Weymouth (they finisheded with 103 points). I was slaughtered against them in both games, and noticed that they had a player loaned in from a Premiership side (he scored a hat-trick against me).

If you start with Weymouth and play to the LLM ethics then I think there is no problem. They have a good team or just a good manager in the current game. If this is the case you will be under more pressure and be expected to win the league. Wuld still be a challenge once you get promoted. I can't see the problem. No where in the rules does it say you can only play with the worse teams in the division.

That is true. You're still missing the point of LLM entirely though. It'll come, in time (if you last long enough).

Michal and I have both explained why LLaMas don't. It's not a rule, it is a guideline, but anyone playing with one of the deemed non-llm games will get no respect in here.

Those teams have always been okay for new LLMers cutting their teeth in the LLM Spirit and Ethos, not for regular players.
