So, an update on the Weymouth situation from a Data Issues thread

I've taken a look at the Weymouth data and I feel that there are two reasons why they are difficult to beat.

1. They are the only Full-Time club in the Conference South, which is obviously making a big difference in FM.

2. Their manager (Garry Hill) and coach (Kevin Hales) have, unfortunately, been vastly overrated by the researcher. This has a knock-on effect in the game.

Q:So Mr Gripper, it will be fixed in the next patch?

GripperI can only speak about the database. If there is a data update in the patch then Hales and Hill's stats have bene changed.

I don't know whether the full-time bias will change in the patch as I am not a programmer.

I don't see why the Full Time status should be changed as Weymouth are a full time club. I read that in the paper after the defeat to Notts Forest!

He's not talking about changing their status, but acknowledging that the match engine has an unnaturally large bias towards them because they are full time.

Me thinks the backlisted club should be FC Ceahaul of the romanian division 2 group 1! My record with them was:

Hmm. Have actually noticed that Hales guy. He seems to be way too good for his club.

Weymouth's success doesn't seem to last very long though. They got to League Two straight in my game, then down to National again, with insecure finances now.

AFC Wimbledon is probably easy as well. When they came up they went straight to National, although down the again the next season. Bought a nice number of players, so their finances must be good.

I'd still apply for the job in a heartbeat, because by the time they become playable I'm a few seasons in already anyway and they will likely (well, ideally) be worse than my current team.

I'd probably too if I was looking for a club. If FC United should get up I'd probably apply no matter how my current club is doing.

I haven't paid much attention to who goes down and up yet, but is there a nice variety of clubs? I remember this was a big problem on CM03/04..
