I am managing in the Scottish 3rd division with Cowdenbeath. I have put in a few bids to loan players from bigger clubs and my bid goes in alongside the ones from other clubs. On the player in question's transfer screen it says he's considering my offer alongside those of others. Now, when he makes his decision and I get the news item about it it says he's accepted one of the offers and has rejected offers from[lists other teams]. Problem is, my team aren't listed anywhere in his response and it's as if I've never made the offer. A bit annoying.
Has this happened to anyone else? Perhaps one for the bugs forum.
I can't say I've noticed this, but then when he has decided on another team I just click onto the next news story without looking in any greater detail.
Are you filtering by having your assistant manager vet your loan selections?
Are you scouting the player before putting in an offer?

I get turned down for transfers a lot, but normally my club is listed in the reject report. I very seldom make loans (and haven't done so yet in 06) so can't comment on loans.

The reason is that it doesn't say every team that the named player has rejected.
For instance if 8 teams offer him a deal, it will say that he accepted an offer from one, and that he rejected an offer from Team A, Team B, Team C and Team D.
It just happens to be luck I think if your included, sometimes I think it's because of the club size. For instance, the biggest 4 teams that get rejected are named.

I'm not filtering with the Asst Mngr and the players concerned had been scouted.
It's not a big issue with the game but it is quite annoying.

Certainly when I started my game, I did not have an assistant manager and although my scout recommended the players, the first 4 or 5 players chose to go on loan to other clubs. I signed an assistant, let him filter the loanees and I managed to loan 3 out of 4 of the players I chose.
I think I was selecting players who would never have joined my club anyway.
