I'm looking to start a new game as an English boss in one of the less known leagues with a view to building up to the pinnacle of world football.

The Question is what leagues shall I have running? I can get about 10-12 leagues running stable and what a broad world wide spread.

So Recommend the leagues and include why!?

Plus...be realistic. An English speaking English manager is highly unlikely to manage in a foreign country, so I'd limit it to the UK and Ireland.

I tend to pick a Country and its borders. Some here will put Portugal and Brazil together because of the similarities.

Got a question on this, I started a game with basingstoke a couple of weeks ago.

Normal details 6 english leagues
Basic details,Spain,Italy,Germany,France and a couple more.

Was I completely wasting my time with running the non-english leagues on basic details. I intend to stay with basingstoke the entire time until they sack me.

I always run all the UK&Irish leagues, with Scottish and English leagues on full detail and rest on basic.

There is an option now to run leagues in the background that you can't manage in. eg. load England and Scotland as playable leagues, Italy, Spain, Portugal etc as non-playable leagues (you wont be able to take on a job there).
