ldv north final, second leg, lincoln v notts county. 2-2 after first leg and, if you didnt know, im on an amzing 6 match drawing streak incuding my home legs in the cup.

they score first, and continue to dominate despite being 20 places bellow me in the league. i set my tactics to all out attack. we score 2 in the second half and look set to add more, but, as its all out attack, my defenders are all in their half, some super fast sub comes on for them and scores a late equaliser. extra time, change tactics to just attack, we dominate, cant find the bleedin net to save our lives!
penalties arrive. my opening penaly taker...monkeyslave no1....has 20 for his penno taking, has scored 13 from the spot already this season, steps up ....misses! so does their opening kicker. my second penno taker...monkeyslave no2...has 18 for his penno taking...scores...cue wild celebrations.
but then, somehow, all the remaining penalties are saved! we get to the kick that would put me in the grand final...monkeyslave no5 is my keeper, someone told me to make him my last kicker thinking i wouldnt get this far...how wrong they were, my keeper blazes it over the cross bar. sudden death, they miss their first kick, so do we, they miss their second kick, so do we....this goes on until each team has taken 10 sudden death kicks each!! by this time my highlights are on full speed and im almost asleep. surely we will win?! nope. on their 11th attemp, they score, my teams reply? is to smash another kick straight at their keeper. we lose. our 7th game without a win. after the most frustrating game ever...my poor excuses for football players dare to lose!!!

I'll stay out of the cups discussion - as I just won one, i'm terribly biased anyway. </bragging>

Concerning the penalty shootout, there seems to be an issue with them, where all your donkeys will aim directly at the oppositions keeper and won't score to save their lives. I posted my shootout (with a total of 12 saved pens) in the bugs forum, it's apparently being looked at.

computer crashed, game did not save. nor did the last 3 of my league games. grrr again! but i still managed to draw them when replayed. what do i have to do to escape this hrrid cycle?!
