There are multitudes more who sing The Sash and carry Union Flags, Red Hands of Ulster and sing The National Anthem at games.

I like the colour orange, but have no feelings on its political connotations. Is that OK? |

| The sash and Red Hand of Ulster have absolutely no defense. But surely as a brittish club union flags would be acceptable? The National Anthem, a similar defense i think, although the political connotations involved would perhaps suggest something alterior is involved. But you cant truely criticise a club for singing their countrys national song?

"Clutching at straws" sprang readily to mind while reading your post, agentoo
Hmmm...let's look at the evidence.
Two Clubs, either side of the traditional West Coast religious divide.
One favours Ireland and displays the Irish Tricolour whilst singing "The Soldier's Song". The other favours Great Britain and Northern Ireland and displays the Union Flag whilst singing "God Save the Queen".
Coincidence?

Had a little read in the Bugs forum. IIUC it's like this. When the league fixture list is determined the stadias are also set in stone. That means that even if the stadium is done before the end of the season and you should move back, you don't. This explains why various cup games are played at the correct venue, as your original stadium is now "free".
But then there's apparently people having the opposite problems too. Cup games on wrong stadium, and league games at home.
