Hi, I've just started my LLM with Histon (I've been living there for about a year now) and I just had a couple of questions about scouting..

First when scouting for players on a free do you set the wage or value attribute to 0? (Need frees as Histon don't have much in the way of a transfer budget!)

Also is there any way of scouting for loans? Or can you only find them on the player search function?

Well, I don't do that and here is why: sometimes a player can be had for 0 even if they are initially asking for more. It depends on how badly they want to move the man. Secondly, why limit yourself? You might find that you have some funds in the future and want to keep that player in mind. Failing that, he might be available on a free if you wait long enough. So, I would say go ahead and make your shortlist to include all reasonable players you like.

I'll sometimes send a scout out with a zero fee limit if I'm desperate for new blood and have no cash, but like Dr. Hook says, scouting without that limit might be of more long term use. Depends on your circumstances.

If your scout finds someone with a "Loa" tag, he's loanable I'm not aware of any other ways, but then I loan players once in a blue moon, so am not the best person to answer that.
