Well.. I am manager of Redditch with no transfer money available but managed to get a couple of loan signings and free transers currently lying 3rd in Conference North and lost 1-0 away to Barnsley in FAC 1. However I am a Willenhall fan and want to know how I can get them involved in the game more. All grey players (not surpirsingly) but never in FA Cup or Trophy (mind you its 1st season) and Thame who they played on Saturday (and won 4-0) are in FA Cup 1st Round. Help.

Ah, the old Metropolitan Police problem

The older LLaMas used to play loads of friendlies against Metropolitan Police to give them enough reputation to be promoted to the Conference, but it never worked.

I assume you just have to wait until they're promoted and the time for that depends on how far down the pyramid they are.

Thanks for that. Just can't believe Willenhall aren't in anything just get pipped to for promotion to Unibond Premier by AFC Telford and they get in to eveything.

Thats true matey, but I believe they are better than some of the other teams that's on here. At least they deserve to be in one of the cups.

The problem in FM seems to be that it's always the same teams in the F.A. Cup & Trophy.

I know in previous versions that only teams from the Conference feeders could be promoted to the Conference, but in others (usual earlier ones), it could be anybody with a passable reputation? Anyone know how it works in 06?

Not sure, I'm absolutely desperate for Blyth Spartans to be promoted though. I play them in a friendly every year but no luck so far. I'd also take Bedlington Terriers or even Gateshead at a push, although im not overly fond of venturing south of the Tyne!
