Here is a screen grab after the frankly unrealistic sale I did of a centre back of mine. If that's a bad season for the lad, I'd love to see when he played well.

I realise that just shy of a million Brit Bucks (oh, and 50% of a sell-on fee - all without negotiation) for a Conference player is absolutely ridiculous, but my justification for selling is that I'm not going to keep up this save in any event - I ran away with the Conference North and even when I sent the kids out I couldn't lose. I'm now just trying to see how ridiculous this save is before packaging it up nicely and sending to SI as evidence they should be working on patch 6.0.2 instead of doing new versions of a baseball game.

It would be a novelty if any of my defenders could get a 6.70 average rating

I had the same thing when I sold my best striker. He had 7.5 average rating and scored 30 goals in 40 games.

Comments: Good effort. Definition adequate. A few borders and judicious use of the 'sharpen' tool would give a more convincing effect.

It almost seems like somebody did a small error in the programming. Everytime I see that comment the guy has played very well. IIRC I got the same comment when I sold our star AML. He had AvR of 8.06, 7.57 and 7.61. Yeah, horrible performances

Perhaps somebody messed up the "<" and ">"...

I just had my first million pound transfer, He was very good as a conference Striker bagging almost a goal a game when I let him go. Bought by a division one team, He was valued at 140,000 when I sold him, About a month later I checked in to see how he was setteling in, hadn't played or his new team yet and was valued at 200,000.

I think the value of of players in the conference is too high, he probably should only have been worth 50K and sold for a max of 200,000.

This has been raised in the bugs forum so hopefully the patch will tone down the values considerably!

That was just my nickname for him, so that I didn't post his actual name. He isn't a wonderkid in the "Football Manager says I'm a wonderkid" sense. He's just a bloke who got a free transfer from Colchester.
