I'm currently playing as Lewes in the BSS. My board just announced a link with Airdire. I this partnership legal in real life? I want to many sure I'm doing things by LLM before trying to get some players from them. My board is expecting promotion or nothing this season...
This is a dodgy one. The Home Nation FAs effectively ban any kind of feeder arrangement, i.e. no "first option" or Directors having interests in more than one Club.
SI say they have the arrangement in purely so big clubs can loan players to lower teams so they can gain experience of first team football, and for the teams to arrange friendlies, ostensibly so the lower club can benefit financially.
In LLM, where we strive for realism, it's a grey area. Our initial, and current, thoughts are that LLaMas shouldn't use the facility but we won't say "don't do it", though Zealot's wouldn't touch it with someone else's, to the extent of turning down friendlies and not using loanees signed by the board.
I have just joined Swansea from Worcester in my save. Swansea are a feeder club to Mallorca. As usual, I have cancelled the existing arrangements with other home nations clubs, but is a link to a club in Spain banned under existing rules?

They can be a parent (to a non-British team), but not a feeder (ever).
Cancelled!
Also, I don't think that it is realistic that Spainish players would gain anything in League One as the style of football hardly reflects the Spanish leagues. Plus the reserve team (B team) system in Spain is much more effective as a means of younger players gaining experience.
