Hello everyone. I just wanted people's experiences of changing jobs.
I'm doing pretty well in Sweden having got to the Premier division in six seasons. However it has just occurred to me that I have not been linked with any jobs at all in my six seasons thus far. No media reports, no job offers, no speculation, nada.
Now in FM2007 I would have had several job offers by this point, not counting the dubious international offers which where rife in that game.
So I decided to see which jobs were available (ten at the time) and apply for them myself and see what happened. Not a sausage, even from very low level clubs indeed.
Has anyone else experienced a similar lack of job opportunities?
Currently in my 10th season there, 5th season now in the Finnish "topflight".
And only this season I got linked to another club for the very first time. A Dutch team that finished the season only 5 points above the worst team.
Might be related to manager nationality / amount of playable divisions loaded / reputation of league you're managing in / other random factors.
oh yes... Quite familiar actually...
I think it was with my current save (4 teams 3 seasons thread) that I kept applying and not a single team was interested... not even Conference teams...

i think it has somthing to do with your new club having to pay your old club compensation and your new club cant afford it so they dont offer you the job but when your unemployed no compensation
