I am interested to know how transfer fees work. Eg, i have sold a player for 0 upfront with 40m to be paid over 24 months & 50% sell on clause.

I have found that i get about 17m right away. But i do not see the rest of it being accumulated monthly nor the following season. It states what i am due monthly in the finaces but i do not see my transfer budget rise by that amount. Nor have i seen my season budget taking into account these fees. I have done this with 3 players & i only got a 17m budget the following season.

Any help please

In 07 your income went up by the full 40M right away iirc, I don't know how it's done on 08 but would assume it's the same way.

I can assure you that it's not that way in 08'.

My understanding is, if you sell over 12,18 or 24 months then you get 12 months worth in your transfer kitty(assuming your board allows you 100% of transfer fees). The other 6 or 12 months goes into your overall balance monthly,but never into your kitty.

Chances are your board will give you a transfer funds boost at some point due to the monthly installments improving the clubs overall financial position.

I do get 100% of transfers but i think your probably right. Just wish i knew for certain.

Save your game, add a new manager and then make a sale between the two human controlled teams in whatever way you desire. Then you'll know for sure.
