November 2012. Man Utd have an estimated value of $419Million but have a debt of $1.57Billion, but it says their finances are secure??? How does that work? $1.5B in the hole doesn't sound to secure to me.

Well, if you take into account predicted ticket sales, sponsorship and merchandise sales, they should be able to pay off the annual payments without much worry.

So, yes, they are 'secure', not rich though.

It does make sense. You buy a house, asking a 200k€ loan from the bank. But you can easily pay the monthly bills... So, even in debt, you're hardly bankrupt!

Yeh i guess you're right. Does this happen in real life? And how can I get into debt in the game, sounds fun :thup:
