I signed a decent Italian regen striker and after less than a season Napoli started showing an interest and he was moaning and moaning so in the end i sold him for £18.5 million in that season i finished 4th. A couple of seasons later and now he is playing for a Napoli side that got relegated to Serie B and looks like they will not be promoted any time soon. My team the one he left has just won the champions league and finished 2nd.

Sam happened with Palacio scored 25 goals in 33 game in his first season and moaned about wanting to leave so i sold him on now he plays for Fiorentina who were knocked out way before me after i went on to win the champions league.

Is it just me or does it make you laugh when someone wants a move to a "bigger club" and the club fails?

I know this thread is pretty pointless i guess i just want confirmation that i am not the only one who takes a great pleasure in some players failures.

every time mate, if i say a player and they join a very successful club when i rival them, i am upset but i love seeing them crash and burn and then signing them back again for a discount

i dont have any players like these because tottenham is quite a well-known club...however seeing aaron lennon crash and burn at arsenal pleases me to no end

I had ribery and he was throwing a tantrum about wanting to leave, he was injured (for 6 months) at the time so i sold him, before he'd even played a game he got injured again in training for his new club - 14months in total after he left me he got his first game. How i laughed.
