I've tried searching the forum for a solution or tips to this problem but had no luck. Basically I'm getting really annoyed by clubs turning down my bids because they are weighing up other bids only for everyone else to have a bid accepted and ultimately purchasing the player. Prime example, i tried signing neil danns from brum. Everyone had a £200k bid accepted but when i bid £200k they refuse. i even bid £1m and they refused??? Anyone have any tips on how to get around this as its really bugging me!!!!

You insulted any of their staff/ players or the club in general? Are you a big rival club?

I'm Peterborough in this game but it doesnt matter what team I am, they always do it. I've tried bidding £2m for a player valued for 50k and others have had nominal bids accepted and mine is turned down??

Have you set a deadline on the transfer? If you have thats the problem, just remove it and all should be fine.

Try unsettling him, if other clubs become interested then the AI willa ccept their bid before they accept yours.

As At. Madrid I bid 22m for Huntelaar and was told that they would only accept 40m. Within 2 weeks they had accepted a bid from Porto of 9.75m and clauses so I just went for him with the new price and they accepted.

He still didn't come though, cheeky git.
