I know this has been mentioned a few times but I just want to reiterate to SI that the next patch MUST and i repeat MUST fix the confidence monitoring when you take over a struggling club.
After 5 trophy filled seasons with my beloved Bayern Munich I decided to ply my trade elsewhere and took over Atletico Madrid, who despite their players were in 19th position and 4 points from safety with 10 games to go.
So it was a bit of a struggle but I managed to get them into safety and after some impressive results managed a 13th place finish. When I first joined the board said they appreciated I hadn't ben in charge but at the end of the season suddenly my job security was precarious and I was sacked after my disastrous display in the league.
So I saved the club from relegation and climbed 6 places in 10 games yet I get sacked. This has ruined my reputation and when I declare dinterest in the Newcastle job I was laughed off as the recently sacked A. Madrid coach.
Surely this could be easily fixed with an option when you take over a club mid season of what your expectations are for the remainder of the season. This would be much the same as the expectations at the start of the season.
This has completely ruined my save and i'm right royally p'd off!!
It indeed sounds as a bug. But still an advice: keep a back-up save before you do big things which kan turn out negative. In that way you have a save for the case your save-game becomes corrupt and unloadable
It is a problem as i had it when i left Tottenham for struggling Wolves in the Championship, my first game was a 2-2 draw with Watford away and i was issued an ultimatum!
it also seems it is gonna p*** ppl off by puttin in mk dons infomation thing that they were formed in 1889. if you didnt know about the case betweeen wimbledon afc and mk dons (aug 2006) that mk had agreed to give up any rights to wimbledons history so therefore wimbledons history should be under wimbledon not mk dons.
