It is new years day and im spending my time on this forum. I also spent quite alot of time over this christmas period on football manager therefore i would say i suffer from 'simulation syndrome' as do most of these people on this forum.
However, whether i win or lose on the game doesn't affect my mood off the game.

I lost the Premiership title on the last day of the season after being top since October, I was Liverpool! I cried, a lot (I get very involved with games), and then headbutted the wall, knocking myself out, not on purpose! Luckily my mum was in the living room with me and she managed to wake me up to take me to A&E! The good thing was when they asked how I'd done it, my mum spared my blushes and said fallen backwards of my computer chair and hit my head!

On a different save I lost 5-4 when I was 4-1 up at half-time, and ripped the mouse out of the port and threw it out of my bedroom window!

As you can probably tell, I get really pi$$ed off when things don't go right for me!

it gets frustrating at times yes, but put it down for a day or two then come back again, the best way imho.

i definitely suffer from the Simulation Syndrome...

I jump in front of my computer everytime my team score and I scream at my screen when players make mistake.

Another problem, I tend to mix my results in the game and the results of the team IRL. So at the moment my team (PSG) is 17th in real French League...but 4th in FM08 under my management. So I'm quite sasisfied. FM08 the new Prozac for football fans??
