 not because of that :
actually, i was going to upgrade in a month or so but the mothterboard on my Dads computer went bad, so i'll give him my mother & chip and upgrade my system.
He gets a computer thats alot faster then what he has and i have a reason to upgraade now instead of later.  | |

i put an Asus A7V8X Motherboard & 2200+ AMD Chip (1.8 Ghz) but only 1 stick of 256 DDR 2700 ram, plus an GeForce 4600 128 mb graphics card.
now you see, i've always been a Pentuin fan, but.... you might say peer pressure made me decide on AMD because i know alot of people who use it, but i think of it as Research.
