Did you notice if the folder has been moved or deleted Bob?

The "Lighting Effects" folder should be in this directory structure:

[DRIVE]\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 6.0\Plug-Ins\Filters\Lighting Effects

This is an odd thing to have happen i must say.
And if your folder is still where it belongs, then i'd suggest another reInstall. And if THAT doesn't work, then i'd suggest you take this issue over to the Adobe U2U forums. Hopefully one of the tech guys will answer it.

What you should try Bob, is to install AFTER deleting the whole Photoshop directory by hand.
