How do you sort out the spuds in the free transfer list?? I hate having to search though 800Free signs and only finding a few that are any good. Need help

You can set filters to exclude players who you deem not good enough, so, if you wanted a striker with finishing of 12 composure of 12 and off the ball of 12, then you can set filters and only those that fit into this category will be shown. It does mean that you wont be able to see those whoose attributes can't be seen bu it does get rid of the useless crap.

yer but i his "X" skill might be that and the rest all 1. So thats just silly

There should be a option asked the Ast Manager who he thinks would be good for the team in the filter options.

You can of course make a filter using an existing player as a template. So just select a player who you judge to be good and make him your template.

What he said. Generally if you do this there will only be a handfull of players to look at. Ok some of their other attributes might be too low for your liking, but like I said there will only be a few players to look at so it won't be too time consuming.

No all the good players wont be on the list, the spuds stay still. SI code something so the Ast manager can sort out what players would be good, they do that in real life and in the game the ast manager does everything else. So why not this???

Maybe they should make a filter by reputation for the next game.

It would clear up the problem, of: if Henry is without a club in a few years, you'll spot him, but if household name Regen X is without a club, you'd never find him.

As reputations are only vague guides to ability, they wouldn't be bulletproof. It's not handin it to you on a plate, and you'd still risk missing the rough diamonds, before they hit the big time.

IRL you know which players are huge or not, so it would be good if you could do so in the ame too.

This would work for your scenario, you'd filter for the highest reputation that yielded any results, and get a smaller, more manageable list loosly approximating the best (but probably not the cheapest).
