I am Brighton, in the Championship now and i am happy to play youth players, i feel that as i have limited money, i have to do it. I used to play for Brighton at youth level and so i know most of the youth players personally, and have made all of their value go up through regualr games

Liam Upton is now worth almost half a million at aged 18 wth relatively poor stats but 12 games and 8 goals!

So, regens or not, do you play youth players and why?

I never play them because my youth players are all rubbish. I'm in the Championship yet my youth players all have the potential to be BSP/L2 players. I think it's probably because the board haven't improved my youth facilities because of my dodgy finances.

I will occasionally play youth players...

Wehn you get a new batch at the start of the season I tend to watch the one my AM picks out...

i play my youth players to see how good they can be.

for liverpool paul anderson gets most of the games.
antwi and hobbs get a few and i've liked barnett in previous games too.

iu've noticed the liverpool australian keeper is quite good but wont be playing him because i like to buy a new young keeper.

I play them whenever I don't need to win or if it's a game against much lower opposition which usually works out at about 3-5 games a season plus I put the best ones in as much as I can. I notice their physical stats improve quickly if you give them first team football.

For Leeds I play Howson (who is amazing after a few seasons), Tom Elliot and the keeper Martin. Jonathan Lund is amazing after about 5 seasons! snap them up!
