| I use FM Modifier to change my age at the beginning of each game as being 30 scares me.
It also provides your teams PA's and CA's.

Antonio Rota for 6.5m from Juventus youth team (he was just breaking into the first team there).
In his first season he averaged 5.6ish.
Surprisingly, Barnsley made an offer for him on loan for the next season, which I accepted, as he was clearly not yet ready for my team.
For Barnsley, in the division below, he averaged about 4.3!
Cearly, he couldn't cut it, and at the end of the season, he was shipped on as soon as possible (for a cut price £3m).
Funilly enough, once he was back in Italy, he was good again.
He's now a coach, but will not be being hired by me.

In 08 it was my CM. He cost more than I'd ever spent on a player at £11m. He spent all season getting 5 and 6's until I blasted him for it. The next game he smashed two goals in and set up the third. I've not seen him perform lower than 7 since!

Andy Carroll,17.5 million from spurs (scout said definate purchase) played 37 goals 11 rating 6.80.Not bad 1.5 million for every goal
