Default How do you get FM2007 to play in windowed format?
just started playing FM2007 but i used to play 06 in windowed format (so i could have msn on in the background) just wondering wether there was any way i could get this game to play in windowed format 2?

dunno if the manual says this or not but if you change target of the shortcut on your desktop by adding -small_screen -windowed , the game will start in windowed mode, my target looks like this

CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\fm.exe" -small_screen -windowed

Changing the screen settings failed. Make sure your system supports the settings.

Is that a definate no no for me then?

just go preference and then choose Display & Sound then uncheck Full Screen.

ye mine said make sure the system supports it then i changed the target and it works so use that

djtosh, you are a legend. I thought that my new laptop wouldn't let me play FM in windowed mode but I'm so delighted it can. Thanks a lot for your tip!
