Yes, it worked!

All i did was increase my virtual something (forgot what, lol) and it worked!

Good luck to those that still don't get it to work, i know how it feels

Once you have saved your own database, go into MY DOCUMENTS>SPORTS INTERACTIVE>FOOTBALL MANAGER 2007>DB. you should then see your databse save. click the left mouse button once on that file then on the task section click on COPY FOLDER. Once open go to PROGRAM FILES then look for SPORTS INTERACTIVE, OPEn that up then click on FOOTBALL MANAGER 2007 vthen click once on DB and then COPY.

I had same problem but after you done that you should have option when you go to the game of selecting your database.

cant find my edited database in the db folder

goto mydocuments/sports interactive/fm2007/db and copy all the files in there to C/program files/sports interactive/footballmanager2007/data/db
that worked for me or you might have to try it the other way round by copying the program files db to the my documents one

I have followed the instructions and now see the pop up box at the start but my db doesnt appear in the list all i see is 2 db's both saying default some please help im desperate to get playing this game
