Yeah, I know what you mean. This issue has been taken into account for the French file. A Morrocan surname will have a Morrocan first name. Future files will also support this and I will look into changing the Nordic file so that there are less immigrant first names linked to Swedish surnames.

The surnames are taken from Nordic namesites. These names are being copied, so if a name is not written correctly, it is because the site does not list them correctly, or because the names are written in capitals so that there are no accents.

If you could send me a list of the names that need correction, I will look into it.

This is possible to some extent. As you mention it is not possible to determine the birthplace beforehand. But just as I was born in Ghent, my younger sis was born in Bruges.
It it also impossible (to my knwoledge) to determine the birthyear. So having twins in the game is not possible.
Also, you can add a favourite club to future regens, but that is not necessarily the club where they will appear as regens (even highly unlikely).

But I have added quite a lot of brothers to the UK/Ireland file and to the Argentina file. But only a small fraction of the total amount of future regens will make it into your game. And it would be quite a coincidence if 2 brothers make it to the same game. And if they do the only thing to determine that they're brothers would be their surname.

It's good to get some feedback. Like Soul said; we get the names from the internet and names aren't always spelled correctly.

We do our best and with your help, the files can only get better.

I decided to delay the update for the following reasons:

- paranoikO has send me his Portuguese EDT-file. It looks really good. But I will make some changes to it. The names look like a good representation of the Portuguese names in general. But I will replace the traditional surnames (eg: Lopez, Martines, Carvalho, Costa, Mendes, ...) with more uncommon surnames. The aim with the EDT-files we create is that they are a counterweight to the traditional names that are already abundantly present in the game.

- There is a problem with the French files, as the wrong first names have been used, and some first names and surnames have been swapped. So it'll take a while longer to complete this one.

- Like AIK pointed out, quite some Swedish names have been spelled wrong, so that needs some sorting out as well.

- The Argentine and Former-USSR file are ready and approved, but I would rather make them downloadable with the French, the Portuguese file and the updated Nordic file in a few days.
