Tactical Overview
This tactic tries to utilise the big man, little man tactic that many managers try to use today. It was made by me in an online game while managing Fiorentina in the first season, having never managed them before i thought i'd take a good look at their players and try to make a tactic around them instead of vice-versa. With a solid keeper in nets and tall, though not very speedy centre backs i decided a nice deep line should do. Now onto full backs, with a deep line i thought that full backs with a good fitness would be neccesary to keep the wide men under pressure at bare minimum for the whole game. They mainly do stay back but spray ball across the park to the wingers who chase and normally reach the ball. During attacking free kicks thought each full back goes onto either touchline to add a bit of width to the play, trying to stretch the play and bring players out of the box, therefore making it less crowded. Wingers, need to be pacy as the full back play balls over their heads for them to chase and cross into the box for the target man. For this it is essential that the pace, acceleration and crossing stats are high and it is also a good idea to make their finishing good aswell as they do often make darting runs into the box if they dont have the ball towards the back post. Their are two types of centre mids in this team, the more defensive one and the attacking one. During balls into the box the attacking mid will be challenging the keeper and putting him under pressure whereas the defensive mid would be making a late run into the box and normally meets the ball around the penalty spot. I found Paul Scharner and Tim Cahill especially good for these roles as they are good in the air, determined players. Up front it is a case of big man little man, with the centre backs and keeper playing balls up to the target mans head and with him flicking it on to the smaller man to run onto. Steffan Iversen was a great target man for me while i was trying this at Everton and Luca Toni for Fiorentina.

Tweaking
* If you dont have a tall man to play the change the target man supply from `to head` to `to feet`
* If you are behind in a game bring the mentality to more attacking by around 3 or 4 clicks and set passing to long
* If you are winning bring a barrow down from the more defensive mid to the defensive mid area
* It you're wingers are crossing the ball too early then bring the farrow forward from the AML/R to FCL/R
Testing
I tested this tactic in a few countries with different types of teams to see how it did - they are:
* Fiorentina
* Everton
* Valencia
* Aston Villa
First of all in Italy with Fiorentina who have a strong squad but 15 points reduction so i knew this would be a test for the tactic. I managed to get them into Europe using this tactic and without the 15 point reduction i would have taken them into 2nd place, i have used this tactic every year so far with them, and am now in 2010 without fail.
Secondly it was Everton's turn to use it. With good results and despite mabye not being the better team we managed to grind out results and finishing 3rd in the Premiership in my 1st two seasons with them and taking them to the Champions League Quarter Finals, beating Real Madrid and Milan 4-0 both times in the home leg.
Valencia were next, and with a very strong squad already there wasn't any need for strengthening. I wasn't too sure if the club would suit my tactic thought, but i changed the `to head` target man supply to `to feet` and suddenly my season took off finishing 1st by 11 points over Sevilla.
Finally i went for a Premiership team that i thought would suit this tactic well, but quite far down the table and Villa was my selection, with Agbonlahors pace and Carews height with Moore running off my Villa team ripped the Premiership apart, even winning the league which supassed all my expectations.
