Was going through a rough patch with Man U, missing most of my first team through injury (Van der Saar, Rio, Vidic, Heinze, Ronaldo, Carrick, Rooney and Saha... lol) - Trailing 3-1 to Valencia in the ECC 1/4's after a mauling at their gaff... For the return at OT I thought I'd give your tactic a whirl with my largely reserve side - and we did them 3-0! I know it's only one game so far but we were all over them, and I'm suitably impressed!

Okay just tried this tactic out. The first match is a 2-0 against Fulham (I'm playing Man U but it's year 2015 so lots of new faces). My AMC was Wayne Rooney and he did an excellent job, 25 out of 27 passes completed and scored one goal (3 shots on attempted, one on goal and in). I'll be reporting back soon with more results.
The defense is pretty solid but they still got 7 shots, 3 of which are on goal but all from outside the box. I've always love Near Post Flick with the best header and that's one reason why I want to try this tactic out. When my best AMC is healed I'll try it with him.
PS. Do you think Cesc Fabregas can do AMC job? Currently he's playing the more attacking DMC.

Away game with Tottemham resulted in 2-2. I led first with a goal in the box by Cesc Fab after a jumble from a corner header. Then they scored two goals, one from a beautiful 30 yarder (gosh!) and another from a cross of a winger to the header of a striker. I scored an equaliser with a left winger to right winger cross.
Attempted shots: 15
On goals: 6
Posession: 53% (good for an away game)
High passing rate but low crossing rate.
I also noticed that the DMCs tend to be in the same position with the DCs in defense so I'd like to suggest that may be the barrows can be removed. This might give a better defense since the DMCs can deal directly with the coming FWs or MCs. It's kinda an overkill to have 4 ppl trying to stop FWs rushing at them, may be a challenge on the opposition's MCs might be better? What do you think?

One more game with Man City, won 3-0 with 0 shot attempts by Man City. The DMC (Al Bangura) played well when I dropped the barrow. So right now I have the left DMC with a farrow and the other DMC with no arrow at all. The team looks more solid and the connection from the back to front looks better.
Seems like my players are adapting to the tactic...

God! Another 2-2 draw away game with Charlton. The first goal was conceded via a beautiful free-kick and the second one I blame on Gerard Pique, he did a stupid back pass and was intercepted - the striker was 1-on-1 with my goalie. Luckily they managed to pull off two goals back. Phew~...keeps on chasing Chelsea!

V0.8 is now out Sorry about the delay.
I'm a lot happier with it now, although there are still enough tweaks to be made that I can't say V1.0 yet
First here are my results in my latest season:
And the league table:
It'd actually be a 100% record I expect, however in the Man City game, Tim Cahill was on international duty, and I forgot to select a target man, and I believe it selects one by default which would be the striker, so just yet more emphasis on the AMC having to be the target man. When Cahill is away, my backup target man is Benedict Vilakazi, a South African player who I got for really cheap.
All goals conceded have been from 25-30 yards out. I've also got the wingers playing a lot better now with the MC in there.
Please note: sliders like long shots etc are set for my current Everton team. Please look at them, and change them as you see fit. When I release 1.0, I will set everything to mixed, then people can change them at will
Still tweaks to go, but hopefully this should work out for you guys. Feedback is appreciated, and be sure to look at your player stats after each match to see where improvements could be made. http://www.ultimatepokerbankroll.com...Thunderv08.tac |

Also just to reply to some of the things you said Glacies(and thank you very much for the feedback - very detailed and it helps in tweaking things):
"The defense is pretty solid but they still got 7 shots, 3 of which are on goal but all from outside the box. "
It seems any goals I am conceding is from outside the box. I'm going to look at trying to stop this or bring the number of shots down.
"So right now I have the left DMC with a farrow and the other DMC with no arrow at all. The team looks more solid and the connection from the back to front looks better."
Yeah dropping the barrow made a big difference in my side I actually pushed one DMC into MC with a barrow, and I find that's a lot better than DMC with farrow. He doesn't get out of place or caught up front I'm finding as much as he was with the farrow.

Also if your team is down 1-0 or 2-0, I recommend giving the MC a farrow instead of a barrow.

Sorry for the numerous posts here I'm just sleepy and not able to think straight, and missing stuff.
If your AMC is getting marked out of the game(and this is BAD obviously because the team revolves around him), play around with the MC & DMC. My giving the DMC a farrow, or the MC a farror, they should be able to help out with the AMC, and pick up balls he is missing etc. Once I release v1.0, I'll have a list of stuff like that, changes to be made etc.
Okay, enough rambling from me, off to bed and I will get to work on 0.9 tomorrow after reading feedback on this one.
