If you downloaded v0.7 earlier, please either redownload it or change central defenders to man marking. I was toying with zonal and it did not work out at all. I've updated the tactic on my server.

It'll be sometime Saturday homer. I want to spend some time working on my DMC in particular, and maximizing his skills going forward. 0.6 is still good, and I'm going back to working from that and ditching 0.7 altogether.

Agreed as version 7 is nt good but version 6 saved my FM career!

Looking forward to version 8, yours is the best tactic I have had with Leeds on 7.01 and I've started many game trying tactics from this forum.

I'm trying a variety of big changes at the moment, to see if there's anything I'm missing out on. For example, the fullbacks playing as wingbacks, wingers playing back a spot, one DMC attacking, the MC becoming an AMC. I just want to make sure that position wise everything is perfect, and there's not something that'll completely change things around

So far, I think having a DMC attacking(with a farrow) is not a good idea. However I've been experimenting with the DMCs pushing up more with some positive results up front, although they aren't as good defensively...so that'll probably be what I work on before V9.

Flank wise, I'll be working on that all day tomorrow trying to determine the best method. With the fullbacks pushing up and/or them being wingbacks, my wingers seem to get a lot more action. I just have to try and find a happy medium there.

And one weakness I must work on is defensive set pieces, as that is where I am conceding the majority of goals.

I've been doing some BIG tests all night and day on this to see if there's any positional changes I can make to be more attacking, while keeping our rock defensive line. One DMC two strikers, one DMC one AMC, fullbacks as wingbacks etc, and nothing really stuck out.

However, I've been experimenting with pushing one of the DMCs into midfield but with a barrow. This seems to be getting more in attack as that midfielder is up there as a thread, and really helps the striker.

Still not 100% certain with it however, and there's a LOT of slider tweaks I still want to do. I don't want to release v0.8 until I am happy with it, and at the moment I am not

So there will be a bit of a delay until I get it all finalized. Hopefully not for too long, maybe Monday or Tuesday.

using your .06 version with a couple of changes due to my players abilities, after a couple of games i went on an 11 match winning streak without conceding a goal, then my next 13 games went won 6 drawn 1 lost 6.

trying it with full backs using barrows and also less creativity for everyone. hoping they'll do what they're told now.

in my 442 tactic less creativity seems to work but im not sure with this one.

also agree with you that the def mids could be changed. i've taken the barrows off.

Excellent old gregg, keep me updated on any changes you make too and what is working for you.

Two things you might try:

Put a DMC in MC, but with barrow.
give a DMC a farrow, and other DMC with no barrow.

This seems to help when we get attacking.

Still a bit early to tell on this one, but we've definetely been getting a lot more involved in attack, and our striker doesn't get as bogged down.
