I'm 19 games in, won 19 scored 49 conceded 0. Made the tactic up mainly using tips from wwfan and others hints n tips. I'm Stevenage in my first season, so this tactic might be useful in the lower leagues, perhaps even up to the lower reaches of the premiership level.

It's called 442-Electro and come in an away flavour as well.

The target man is set to the right hand side, and you'll want to put your big CB on the left hand side of the defence to take advantage of the killer corners.

just tried it with BARROW against HITCHIN in a friendly half time 1-1 they had 9 shots mainly 1-on-1's but only 2 on target 7 off target i had 1 on target and 1 shot they had 55% of posession i had 45%. i think that you have been saving the game before each match!!!!

Do you? That's nice.

Try persevering a bit. Getting a big man up front with good heading and jumping is essential.

Played 3 games with my Aston Villa team

v Sheffield Utd 3 - 1 w. Went 3 - 0 away from home before defencive error by my RB.

v FC Twente 2 - 1 w. Stuggled to a 2-1 away win. I put on a faster striker on the left and this made the difference.

v Man City. 3 - 0 w. Out played them for most of the game. I brought on pacer striker which seemed to help.

Promising mate. Cheers for trying it out. Just won a game 3-2 to concede my first goal(s) of the season and then horror horror... slumped to a 1-1 draw, with them scoring in the dying minutes(after losing a man to a red and another at the end through injury and 3 subs being used.

Having the big/fast combo up top brings best results I find too...

This forum has seriously gone downhill. Your team may not have conceded a goal for x amount of time, this does not mean other people trying the tactic will fair the same.

next three games :

v Fc Twente 3 - 0 w. Completely dominated game.

v Tottenham 0 - 0. Again completely dominated game with 16 shots at goal but only 3 on target. Didn't help losing my best target man after 60mins.

v Liverpool 1 - 1. Even game had slightly better possession and played well.
