usually when i play the lower leagues or am cash strapped i tend to look at scouts for my coaches. A lot of scouts are just as good at coaching, are more likely to accept and ask for lower wages.

In regards to getting pummelled - what are your tactics, are they suited to your players? is it an attacking formation? try operating a fraction more defensively
