Should I buy Lorik Cana for 5mill or Jean II Makoun for about 9.5mill? I would say they are about equal but i'm not sure who to get

IMO though, Makoun is better, but wether he is 4.5mil better, i dont know!

Cana for 5 mill is a better deal, I don't think Makoun has the strength to be a good DM

Veloso for around 7mil or Banega for around 4.7m- imo i think they would be better signings

Yer agree with Lvpool. Sign Banega for about £2 million and you will have arguably the best DM on the game.

banega is good...and cheap at 2.4M GBP
but he isnt there yet...if you want someone with potential, he is the man, if you want immediate impact, he isnt
banega looks to be a class player, but he is more of a pirlo-style passing DM than a hard grafter

really depends on what tactics you use
in my villa game, i dont use a DM usually, so banega right now is a role player off the bench/rotation player at MC (where he also plays well)

in my everton game, however, i do use a DM and its usually phil neville, so banega isnt the right kind of DM for that tactic, but he comes off the bench if need be, but unless i can afford to forgo grit for flair in teh spot, he doesnt start. if i lose neville, carsley or jagielka gets the starting nod


now to thr orginal choice cana or makoun
makoun looks better to me, if you have the extra 4.5M to spare, then go for it

me, when i played villa, i picked up van der vaart(11M), modric(3.8M) and monsoreau(4M) to fill in gaps in my team and then with what was left i cherry-picked for the rest of the team
