I have recently started managing Spartak Moscow, and I was wondering if anybody else had any experience managing them and could offer any advice etc?

I have a few times, get your scouts to S. America and get some gems over there. You will probally turn into a selling club but can have success. I managed to win everything with them altho my first CL title came after 7 years in charge. Have a good balance between russian players and I went for s. americans. Pavelechenko should be money and keep him signed as long as you can. The more successful you are, the more you can ask for feeder clubs and upgrades to the training and youth facilities.

Thanks for your help. Pavelechenko has been great for me so far, netting 12 goals in 10 appearances so I will certainly keep him

Before cavenaghi moved on he and Pavelenchko were my strike force, another youngster that did well for me was Tomas Necid of the Czech Rep. He was 17 last year, sent him on loan for a season he came back a monster.

One question, did you sell off Jiranek and Stanzl, as I keep getting large offers for them from English clubs?

I sold Stanzl but kept Jiranek for 4 more seasons.
