Im in my second season, was just appointed as manager of manchester united. Sold Micheal Carrick to AC Milan for 20 million and contemplating to bring Arouca in as his replacement. Anyone know if he is a worthy replacement.

He's not bad by any means. But I'd rather have Veloso, Lucas or Toulalan. They'll cost much more though.

he's a bit average.
suited to the portugese league, but he isn't going to win a prem.
If makoun hasn't left lille yet, get him, similarly toulalan is a legend, and valencia usually sell one of their cms on the cheap early on.

If you have the cash you would definitely be better off going for Toulalan, Arouca is more of a mid table prem player.
