Play as the mighty Claret and Blue army and incredibly frustrated with trying to find a decent formation.
Buy Van Der Vaart, Ryan Taylor(plays very well, and cheap), Ignashevic and another big striker like Carew, but can't seem to get anything out of them.
Please help!

i was villa on my 1st season but left for man u, and i played agbonlahor on the right mid and he had the most assists in the premiership that year. I brought in chris samba and he formed a solid partnership with zat knight and curtis davies who is a pacey center back. My biggest success was Rodrigo Palacio who was 2nd top goal scorer in the league and would of been 1st had it not een for injuries so i suggest to you get a pacey striker 2 compliment carew

As villa i played 3 defenders (barry,davies,simpson(man united 7 mil)

i played defensive midfielder with a central midfielder and two wingers (any defensive mid, davis and played young out left and agbonlahor on the right.

and then used a attacking mid (could buy jose sosa fc bayern good amount of assists and goals)

two strikers i used hugo almeida ( very good player from werder bremen) and diego tardelli (excellent player from sao paulo or toulouse fc could play in any team scores at almost every chance) on my game 16 games played 15 goals scored.

i came in mid season and saved them from relagation and also won the fa cup but have moved on to liverpool now taking diego tardelli with me EVEN MORE GOALS THERE.
