It depends how many games the scouts watch. The GK could have played a blinder when the first scout looked him over and been going through a rough patch when the second was reporting!

If the scout says he is good have a look at him yourself and decide what you think. If you both think he is great then try and buy him. When offering the player a contract look at what the assman says. If all three of you think he will be good then there I a good chance you are right.

The scouts' words are nice guidelines, but I make the final call myself based on attributes. If a guy hasn't played great at his former club(s) and the scouts are laughing at him, but he looks good to me, I don't have any problems buying the guy. Wouldn't fork out though.

Who cares what the scout thinks. He finds the players, I make the judgements.

if only i had the time to do that!
i only had about 10 players in my first team, so i've pretty much signed up everbody he reported on. All of whom are useless.
