Ok firstly my Dag and Redbridge team just overcame the mighty hibs 3-1 in a friendly. (I know it is just a friendly but it made me smile )
Anyway, am i right in thinking that a key to promotion is good loan choices. I realised that i can loan people worth 500k>. Like good players! And you don't even have to pay the wages!
Of course the problem with this is that you could technically go up a league with a good defense/offense which isn't yours. This makes the next season hard because your team isn't ready to go up.. so what do people think of loaning?
My current strategy is to loan one good striker to partner my 40k marvel who just scored all 3 goals against hibs. 1 decent defender to sure up my defense and a few attacking midfielders spread across the season.
Am i going about this in the right way? Or should i concentrate on what i have?

I remember reading a thread about loaning players a few years (?) ago, where this particular aspect of loaning came up. Although it is possible to loan players without paying wages, I think that the consensus here was that in most cases it is unrealistic and hence not true to the LLM way of playing.
And the key is to keep the loans realistic, if you have to loan. Loaning quality players from way above your league is not realistic IMO. When not even paying their wages, you're having a laugh really.
IRl, lincoln used to do this kind of thing quite often. Loaning people out who wanted first team football. It didn't work for us :thdn: and doesn't work for me on the game. The main reason being, " player does not want to go on loan to lincoln as he does not wish to play for such a poor team"
I sense i will fail whatever i do, i made a host of bad signings, my key players won't accept lower wages and losing them would cripple my already suspect team.
My wage surplus has gone from +1.5k to +2.5k a week.
As for asking questions, i was confused and lost, it was to clear up what i didn't get.
