| I'm talking about football shirts, where the hoops are continuous. On flags, horizontal stripes have a beginning and an end.

They don't. At least not over here. Or else you could watch a flag only from one side, and that would look plain stupid.

| Unless you look at it as 2 flags printed on the same fabric. That way it's simply a way to save money |

Great to see someone playing as Hayes. I've always had a soft spot for them due to the "Sir Les" factor.
Don't do too well with them though. There's already too much competition in West London what with Brentford and The Russian and Egyptian Mafia!

Conference National: Hayes
Fairly quiet pre-season with my scouts not finding anyone I was prepared to spend some of the tv money from so I started the new division with the side that had taken me up.
Recorded my first win of the season in record time after 5 games and went on a good run that left me wedged nicely in midtable. A 4-0 humbling in the FA Cup to leaders Woking halted my progress and I edged a few pointscloser to the bottom 3.
Revenge was extracted on New Years day however with a 4-0 win at Woking and it started off a fine run in the second half of the campaign, never in realistic danger of the drop and pushing on for a playoff place for the final quarter of the season. Eventually taking 3rd place on the last day despite 2 draws being my best results in my final 5 games of the season.
Started off with a 0-0 draw at home to Exeter in the first leg only for my impressive away form to take me to the final with a 3-1 win. 0-0 at half time against Bury before I went down to ten men for the final half hour, a goal in the 83rd minute for Bury a cruel blow to take and one we were never going to come back from.
Another season in the Conference to look forward and perhaps even a push for my first honour if I can avoid the League interest in some
of my more consistent players.
Final League position: 3rd (lost to Bury 1-0 in playoff final)
FA Cup: 4th qualifying round (4-0 away defeat to Woking)
FA Trophy: Semi finals (3-1 defeat on aggregate to Stevenage)
Players In: 5 (£2k spent) & 3 loans in
Players Out: 5 (£19k received)
Premier League: Moneycantbuyyoulovebutitcanbuytitles FC
FA Cup: Birmingham (Penalties putting an end to another Russian double)
League Cup: Tottenham
Champions League: Another repeat final but with Milan beating Inter this time round
Worth mentioning: More managerial casualties as a cockney becomes the 4th manager in 18 months for the "big" side while Mr Surprise is also axed.
England win a semi-final penalty shoot out (Italy the victims) and go on to become European champions. If only it was this simple in real life!

Big up the super 'ayes!
Can't believe someone else actually bothered with 'em, I'm one of the 200 or so regulars down at church road but can't get anywhere with 'em on the game .
Come on you 'ayes!
