Default Are poor games a frequent part of lower league management?

By some fluke i have put together a half decent team. My defense can tackle a pork chop from a hungry lion and my keeper is a bit of a trooper and does ok. My attack is seriously underperforming!

This leads to the dreaded "bore draw" or "blah win but in truth it was a poor match"

Are people frequently coming across this or is it just me?

I never have draws, let alone wins... wouldn't know.

I notice that most of my games are descibed like that, the AI thinks it was a bore draw or a poor match. I like to think of them as a good away point, or a job well done.

I get that whatever the result. And if we're honest, the lower reaches aren't going to offer up total football are they?

In prior versions, you could see the quality of the play improving as you went up the ladder, which was a nice touch. I hope it's the same in 06.

The match commentary's getting my tits a lot quicker than in previous games, to be honest.

The same old crap comes up time and time again, in an effort to be fresh and new SI have taken a backward step, imho.

I'm sick to the back teeth of seeing "A game East Stirlingshire/Bolton ought to have won".

Well, you should have won them, then.

As I've said before, the FM06 commentary enjoys stabbing you and then twisting the knife in the wound. I hate it.
