After long deliberation, i decided to start as semi professional side Nuneaton Borough- my aim: to be in league 1 in 5 years time.
My balance was 200k and transfer budget was a generous 20k- though attracting players to a semi professional team would be difficult.

after an up and down first season, it all came down to the last day, where i needed a win and results to go my way to scrape into the playoffs.... I WON!!!!! 1-0 vs hucknall town....but leigh rmi won so i missed play offs by 1 point on the last day.

One positive to take out of the season was the emergence of an amazing 17 (turned 18) year old striker- scored 23 goals in the league and won my fans player of the year.
