I'm so confused here. Been playing with Pau FC in the French National (3rd league). Been there for 2 seasons then won promotion and I'm now in the second league for the second year in a row. ALL of my players and staff have professional contracts for at least 2 seasons plus my finances status is rich (balance €9,5 million) and I am STILL semi-pro!
What is my solution to be pro because It's really difficult to get those better players?

I have heard, and don't know for sure, that by going pro, your club gets into a different and more costly tax bracket. Is this true (thinking mainly of the UK)? And if so, is it reflected in the game? So would turning pro actually be disadvantageous in some cases?

I could imagine that some upkeeping and administrative expenses might be higher. Just find out yourself.
