I started my game on a normal database because I had very little RAM, although I have since added more. I found the scouts found a decent amount of players and I still had plenty at my disposal, aswell as the processing times being quick. Having a normal database has certainly not affected my enjoyment.

On the other hand though, this is my first attempt at LLM, so I have nothing to compare it to. If you're used to huge database then a step down might hamper your enjoyment of the game.

How about spending the equivalent of 40 quid on another half-meg of RAM?

That probably is the best idea. Is that how cheap it is?

not sure if he can still upgrade. He must have lots of RAM chips to get to 500 MB.

I guess
2x128, 2x64 + 2x32 + 2x16 + 2x8 + 2x2

It would be ok if it was of a similar type, memory has different speeds, or something like that, and will take the slowest to operate on.

I know what I mean and that's all that matters!

So you think it'll be ok?

I asked my mate about it and he said it might be ok, but that sometimes they have to run in pairs.

What do you mean of a similar type?

Bloody hell, A llama that can count! I could sell you on ebay for a fortune and buy a new system with the proceeds. Okay you got me it is 512 I have but I didn’t want to get flamed for bragging as well as asking a tech question.
