Hah! In May 2011 I was offered a four year contract at £24k a week to manage Newcastle United, a raise of £18.5 a week on my paltry rolling contract of £5.5k a week, so guess where my hat's hung up now?
I always had a liking for Newcastle Brown :cool:

How do you reconcile that in your black-and-white world, Ian?
On one hand, you double your salary, but on the other hand it's Liverpool ( ) and it'll ruin your save. Surely there's some conflict there?

LLM's about realism. The realism of any situation is that if a man's on £5.5k a week, has a wife and young kids, and a Company offers him £24k a week for doing essentially the same job, is he going to turn it down?
Yeah, an arse is.
If Liverpool ( ) offer me £50k a week to manage them...watch my heels as they head for Merseyside.
