Hey guys, I loved starting unemployed in 2005 but in 2006 I can't get hired. I started a game HUge dat with all leagues open in Wales England, Scotland, and both Irish leagues I think there are about 6 jobs open when the game starts (ENG start) but no dice.
I've started abotu 5 games now and can't get hired in any of them. These games ranged from 6 months to 3 years. (on holiday while i sleep)
I have tried differnet nationalities becuase I figured being Canadian hindered my chances. But even English nationals dont get hired for me.
Anyone having a problem like this or could give me a few suggestions. I love the LLM style but want to start fresh in a career mode.
The weird thing is prior to these last 5 restarts I did the same and actually got hired in January as manager of Northwich, as a canadian, who lost their manager to a better club leaving me in first place.
After the northwich game I started an Americas game (all south and north american leagues) and I got 4 job offers. Didn't find it much fun as I knew NOBODY
and thus back to UK and can't get hired.

HELP
Not knowing anybody is actually a good thing if you're playing LLM style. In regards to your problem, I would recommend to just let Frank pick a random team for you so first of all you don't have to go through this hassle, and secondly, you don't risk taking a job in a league higher than the lowest one.
It's not much of a mental leap to assume whoever you're taking over has just fired their manager.
I've never heard of it taking that long to get a job, but I think it's probably bad luck. A compromise position is to take over a club that starts the game without a manager. That way you're not bumping an existing manager, but at least you can get a game going instead of sleeping. After all, you need to ravage your body and psyche with all-night sessions of the game.
