See, the thing that ticks me off is not your argument, but how you keep implying that you have the moral high ground.
There are basically two points in your argument: a) it's not realistic, and b) it can be used to make the game easier.
Allow me to rebut both of these.
a) It's every bit as realistic as assuming you can take over a football club in the first place. You pick a database size, countries to play in, a name, a birth date, a nationality, and a club. Then the game begins. All of these parameters should be up to your discretion. I don't hear anybody complaining that the game restricts you from entering an age under 30. Is the game cheating in making some managers older than they really are?
b) You can make the game easier or harder by choosing which league you play as well. You can make it easier or harder by setting the level of detail you choose for the database. A huge database certainly makes it easier to find players in the lower leagues than a small one, yet most LLaMas suggest to use as large a database as possible. Cheaters?
Finally, why would you want to preclude someone from China to experience managing an English club the same way as someone from England? What if that person has lived in England all his life but is not a citizen? He'll have to pretend not knowing the language when he firsts starts out?
I could go on but it's getting tedious.
