I always play as my Norwegian self as well. Rarely got job offers in 05, but managed to invade poofland from Norway in my 06 game. (Which got a thread btw.. )

Do you think I would be better off setting my nationality to whatever country I'm playing in?
| I would consider changing your nationality to be cheating. But there is hope after all. While it is in fact harder to get job offers overseas because of nationality and language issues, you can overcome this. You just need to have a bit more success than usual and to maintain it for longer periods. This is particularly the case if you come from a lower reputation country as well. That just compounds things.

If you're actually Slovenian IRL, then you shouldn't start a saved game as an Italian, just so you can find it easier to get job offers in Italy. That's what I mean by changing one's nationality being cheating.

Wouldn't call it cheating, but it makes getting new jobs easier. Some like to keep their original nationality, some like to have the same nationality as the nation they're starting out in.

Errm, in other words you place choice of nationality on the same level as using downloaded tactics and tipped superplayers...
Please tell me you're kidding.
