Yeah, I've been looking for this. There was a manager opton in 05 where you could make him use current team selection, as far as I can remember. It was a nice feature, cause it's just a hassle to take over the 2nd or u19s if you want to check out a player over several matches. I vote to get it back!

Gotta update on this kid, he's just too good to be true. In the summer break (that's the mid-season i Norway) I played THIS friendly against ManUre. Kid is really performing, check out the runs..

This career game is looking good, got the right wing position sealed for the next 20 seasons.

I just started retraining an U18 and placed him out of position (to the new wanted position) in the U18s.

The assman has been playing him there for the last 5 matches straight \o/

UELLfan, retraining really works in 06? In previous versons the players just got pi$$ed off, so haven't tried it for long.

Cosmo, I know. His 18 runs at the right wing againts world class defenders buys him a lot of credit though

Sorry to be replying to myself all the time, but:

The Wonderpoof in question has recently turned 16, so I figured I could go about and offer him a proper contract, so I could field him in my serverly injury-ridden side. No go though. No option for team status, etc.

Are these youth-rules nation specific? Do you guys have any input on when I might be able to upgrade his squad status to full-time spoilt wonderkid?
