Worthy out... hmm, i'm still undecided if this is the best course of action, i can see the reasons for it but I dont think there is necessarily anyone else better equiped to turn it around and there goes our jan budget if we want to find out.... tough decision.

Maybe shot for this but the only person I would swap Worthy for is George Burley... painful as that would be!

Hah, well its a touch decision like i said, but if you take his past allegiances out of the equation, he is the best unemployed prospect.

I sat on the fence for a long time, but the simple fact is that Worthy is tactiacaly naive, always has been. Switching ultra defensive right after we'd taken an extra time lead in the playoff final? Then conceding a goal as we invited Brum onto us?.

He's always been poor like that, but he's been able to instill belief in players up till now and get them to play above themselves. Right now they have no belief at all.

And don't get me started on playing fullbacks at MC and the lack of an MR for two years :explode:

Who to replace? No idea. But we can't use the "devil you know" excuse forever. we'll be in League 1 next year at this rate.

I dont envy the person who has to make the decision. Its such a shame because its going to put our progress back atlease a season and i think thats being optimistic. Saying that I think they will stick with him till the end of the season now, if they were going to get rid of him they would of done it by now.

What do you think about the supposition of promoting David Williams from within, he's masterminded many a teams progress quietly in the background, aside from '93 Mike Walker team I heard he was responsible for bringing through Man Utd's famed generation?
